Visiting Artist Annie.....

and her Jays and Arvin was with us in spirit!!!!  The Chaikin's deck was where Arvin and Ann would spend so many peaceful afternoons watching the silly antics of the Jays and squirrels and hummers and more.  Today i had the priviledge again to spend some alone time with Ann and have several colorful Jays put on a show for us.  I included a painting of Arvin by Ann that hangs in their living room....he really was there with us today in spirit and I certainly "felt" his presense.  Since I was up in Bellingham I had hoped to be able to stop over and see Ann and it worked out well .  We spent a couple lovely hours sharing Arvin memories, talking about Ann's wonderful Belize trips and looking at the super book she made about that, discussing what things the future may hold and just "being" together.  Best of all was to share a huge hug!   Arvin would be smiling his gentle smile ...I know.
