Arriving in Bratislava

This was a short night!
Alarm at 3:30 am for a taxi at 4:30 to the airport.
I hate this flight!!
I had a 3 hour layover in Amsterdam, which really doesn't help. Although this was shortened by a flight delay out of Glasgow.
At Vienna I was picked up by my favourite driver. He knows me so he does not have to hold a sign up, he just sees me coming out of the gate.
We had a different Hotel booked in Bratislava this time and it was wonderful! I think it is the first Hotel in Bratislava - it was also a bit more expensive than our usual one.
After checking in I changed to something more summery as it was 25 degrees.
In the meantime Hedda and Jack had arrived. Erik was there already.
We four went for a much needed coffee on the Hotel terrace.
I am working with Hedda as my counter part in the Americas since almost 6 years and today I finally met her!
Only since January we have shared business for our regions.
After the coffees and some food for the boys we worked a bit in our rooms before we met again to work on the presentation.
For dinner we walked along the river in the Old Town to the Rio Grande Restaurant. When I am in Bratislava I go there always at least once.
After dinner I had to do some more work. It is my regional review meeting, so I have to pull it all together.
I did that outside on the terrace with a few more coffees ....
So it was another late night for me.

The blip had to be Hedda :)
