University lunch break

The University of Western Australia (UWA) is situated on Crawley Bay in Nedlands.

Its close proximity to the Swan River provides students with the opportunity to get away from it all if they need that bit of fresh air.

This student has taken his laptop to the sandy river beach and was deep in concentration when I blipped him earlier today.


In days gone by we would come down to this part of the river at dusk with our prawning nets and if lucky come home with a kerosine tin full of prawns to eat hot with fresh bread and a cold beer or two.....more often than not with more than two.
