Well we didn't get wet

We walked to the village with friends this morning, had a stroll around the privately owned Bromham Park and then back to the Mill for coffee, where one of the staff was opening sluice gates to let the river water through in order to stop the local fields flooding.  It was going through at quite a pace.

Not long after we got home the heavens opened.  The boys went out for fish and chips which we washed down with a glass of wine, and after a cup of tea and chocolate creams our friends strolled back home.

It's raining heavily again so I've been faffing.
