Shetland Lambs
Quite by chance, during March, I met a lady I went to school with 'a lot of years ago'. We chatted for a while and then decided to meet up to go for a walk, she is an avid walker. So today we met at Dunwich and did a seven mile walk through the forest, stopping at the National Trust Centre at Dunwich Heath for lunch, where they a holding a Sconeathon this weekend. They were offering fifteen different flavours of scone so we bought three savoury and three sweet varieties (they were quite small and still £1.50 each!!) cut them in half and shared them. We choose ham and mustard (couldn't taste either), salmon and cream cheese (really nice), cheese and chives (no flavour), chocolate and marshmallow (yummy), lemon and coconut (even more yummy) and orange and chocolate (not much flavour).
These little Shetland (I believe) lambs were in the grounds of the Whitefriars Abbey ruins. I thought they were so sweet and loved how they posed to have their photograph taken. I only took six photos today, all of these little lambs, well we did have 'a lot of years' catching up to do, and yes we are meeting up again soon. It was a really good day.
