Happy 80th Birthday Mum

A small but perfectly formed group of family and friends gathered for lunch in Croydon to celebrate my Mum's big birthday.

It was an inauspicious start: Dad and Becca went shopping yesterday for a sparkling new outfit for Mum, but it was nowhere to be found this morning when they went to pick her up from respite, so she wore some old favourites!  I'm sure it will turn up eventually and it didn't matter.

We had a low key lunch with a small group of close family.  It was especially lovely to see my cousins Nicola and Pip (pictured) and have the opportunity to catch up.
