Day 1 Northumberland

We left at 0815 & drove the 306 miles to a place near Holy Island (Lindisfarne) in Northumberland, We arrived here at 1445 having stopped twice...

The first 250 miles were in fine weather & the last 56 we drove in rain :-(

We arrived at the pad & unloaded in the rain but it soon stopped & the sun came out...lovely. We were both feeling tired so I had a nod whilst C did some beading. Later we had a chilli that I had rustled up yesterday & settled down for the evening. Decided not to go out tonight after a busy driving day.
