Tub thumping

Excellent evening with The Bears, lots of conversation about the parlous state of British politics and the ghastly Theresa, classic music from our personal histories, and future prospects of dementia. TSM and I realised we had both been at Hammersmith Odeon for The Boomtown Rats in the late 'seventies and for Kid Creole and the Coconuts in the mid 'eighties. Amazing we never clocked that one before in 23 years together.

Quite a chilled day, got some Canadian Dollars for Monday, did a bit of housework ... more heavy rain at times and cold come evening, doesn't feel like late May.

So pleased to have a break from work...

PS - Kid Creole are supporting Culture Club at Wembley in December ... can you believe it ...?
