The newest commercial establishment in our local Sivtsek Vrazhek street - the warm ambience of a coffee shop and bakery.  Two centuries back, this area was home to 4 different trades: icon painters, horse grooms, carpenters and mint workers, all of which retain names in the side-streets coming of Sivtzev Vrazhek.  These tradesmen subsequently disappeared during a crisis in the Moscow economy and the aristocracy moved in to what, by then, had become a fashionable area.  Much like today's urban dynamics.
