Tractor Crossing

My mother and step-father were visiting today, so after church and the university's spring choral concert we took a drive north of town into the souther edge of the Palouse. It was really nice to get out of town and away from work, if only for a slow drive on country lanes for a bit.

I have to admit I agonized a bit over which picture to post today. A good problem to have, I guess. The wheat is about knee high already and I got a couple good shots of green hills with interesting shadows. However, I thought the evening light made this somewhat squalid little farm tucked in the hills beautiful -- and the tractor sign made me laugh.
