We closed a road!

Remember this bridge?

It needed a full road closure to undertake some further and more extensive repairs. Today I had to go and check in on the contractors for our Bridge Engineer and the road was closed for a good 2 miles but I had to drive through the barriers to visit. I felt important, I'm not though!

Despite the barriers and three road closed signs they've still had lorries trying to get though even though the signs say no HGV turning. It's no surprise that the bridge gets hit so often when people ignore even road closure signs?
