Looking Backwards

By and large I'm content with my life.
On the Royal Navy social media pages there seems to be a growing yearning for the 'good old days' when the world was a simpler, less dangerous and nicer place.
I think our memories default to the 'good stuff' and that means the good old days weren't necessarily better.
