Zeeland

The word Zeeland translates as Sea Land. And that's just what it is.
A lot of land surrounded by the sea.

Today was a special day, because I was performing in a show called
DansOpera, which I play in for a while now. It's a combination of opera
music with a singer and two dancers. I play the cello, and there is also
a piano playing. The show is about loss, and the feeling you can't reach
it anymore. Quite intense. 80% of the audience was crying.
It still gives me shivers that we can do that with just music and dance.

We were performing it for a small festival in Walsoorden, actually in the
shed on a camping place, where they've built a stage.
The audience and the organisers were very friendly.

This is the view on the other side of the dyke. A lot of sea. With large
container and fishingboats in the distance.
