A visitor from the forest

Zeus09s mum and I were heading off to the forest when she spotted this young deer at the top of our road.  She managed to reverse her car without alarming him, so that I could grab a few shots.  Sadly, by the time she could retrieve her camera, he'd spotted us and disappeared into trees.
This little piece of land is actually part of Epping Forest, which is home to both fallow deer and muntjacs.  They are generally very shy though, and I have rarely seen either, so it was a great pleasure to see this one so close to home today.
