Crockery

At Stowe landscape gardens in Buckinghamshire the C18 New Inn has been restored to show how it would have been when in use by visitors to the house and garden. The photo shows appropriate tableware from one of the public rooms. The glaze on the crockery is dark brown and it seems to translate well to black and white.

The landscape at Stowe is on such a huge scale that although the vistas are spectacular, I haven't figured out how to get good photographs of them.
