Crummock from Starling Fell

A trip to Ennerdale today from where we did two more Wainwrights,  Great Borne and Starling Dodd.  The path up was extreme with very steep sections which required climbing and a gale force wind threatening to pluck us off.   The way down was also difficult down an almost non-existent path and sections of scree (is this REALLY a path? came from Jane several times)    It was a very tiring walk and 8.5 miles.

My main view shows Crummock from Starling Dodd where Rannerdale is clearly visible.  The fell on the left is Melbreak.
