Rocket Man

This was a trip at the better third's behest. Not the quickest place to get to from where we are, but not that difficult. And we got to ride the new circular train service, that we thought was just a metro line, but it's actually a full grown train. We were not so happy we had to pay again, the metro pass does not get you an interconnecting trip, you have to tap in a second time. However at about 10 bob a ride, who's counting?

In case you hasn't guessed this is a monument to Yuri Gagarin, the first communist in space. The location is not the most exciting, stuck as it is on an intersection of the third Moscow ring road, however I managed find a slightly more interesting angle.
