Missed!
There was quite a racket going on outside this morning.
It turned out to be a couple of sparrows - eating the flower buds on my wisteria. (sorry - not a great shot ....... taken through two sheets of glass).
The Bluetits obvious have a brood. They were in and out at one heck of a rate. On the way in they would pause for a look around - either at the entrance or (partly hidden) in the wisteria. But on the way out .............. straight out without warning.
Although it wasn't raining this morning, there was a fair number of raindrops sitting on the flowers and leaves in the garden.
So out I went with the macro lens.
I couldn't get a shot I was happy with of open blossom on the apple.
The Welsh Poppy was no problem, but I liked the background colour in this one (shame about the cropped seed pod though). Since I had balls up the seed pod, I thought I should give it pride of place in this one.
It wasn't quite the 'classic shot' of the hosta - but close enough .... I think.
Again, there was no water on the fern - but again, I liked the muted colours throughout.
Others shots are ivy - honeysuckle - Lady's Mantle - clematis flower - and probably my favourite THIS.
The rest of my day has been spent backing up and cataloging files (God I hate that job, but it has to be done)
