Welsh Poppy

There was a slight fall of rain this morning, and it left the flower petals with lovely drops on them..... photographed this poppy around lunchtime when it still had some on them.

Church in the morning, then a nice brunch by the HG (he does a great fry up), then pottering until dinnertime when we had Carolyn, Andrew, Katie, and Emma to share dinner.  Gary is off to Spain on a golfing trip.  We ate late as Emma had a rehearsal for her dance show next week.

Had a good chat, and did the Sunday Post quiz, also the quiz on Scotland that we had on our Aberdeen coach, was surprised at how much the kids knew!!!!

A nice family Sunday, with a little rain but mostly sunshine.
