Decisions, decisions... use the posed or the real...? Of course, I went for the real. You can see the posed in the extra, and both look better in Large. I used Luminar to process these shots, as now-unsupported Aperture seems to be becoming buggy crashware - such a shame Apple canned it.

Greg came over for lunch today and afterward the three of us ventured out in the camper to Newark Park, just up the road. He'd brought only his wide angle with him, so (challenge accepted) I only took mine. It's at these times of semi-competitive photography that we learn the most, I find.

Janet's feeling so much more lively now, and her increased kidney function shows in her energy and general joie de vivre. And yes, the Ceanothus really was that blue. 

More wide angles on flickr in the next day or two, but I really do need to complete my preparations for the village annual parish meeting this coming Wednesday... so easy to procrastinate!
