How cute is that?

Left our hotel and headed for the ferry at Scrabster via Dunnet Head. Absolutely delighted to find this lovely creature and its friend in the harbour.
We also met our friends in the harbour but they were in their car in the queue for the boat sheltering from the rain. An uneventful crossing and at the other side we were met by our other friend Tom.
We had a bit of a mad dash around a water mill and an RSPB site before we finally made it to the fantastic cottage we are renting from Tom's sister. A quick tea and off to Kirkwall for a concert. Slight problem as we had the wrong date - it's on Sunday. Never mind. Back to the cottage where we consoled ourselves with drink and fine company.
Tired but happy!
