it's been one of those days where I have heaps of photos I could blip. we went for a 7 mile run out to craigdam (1 hour 12 mins) and back - it was lovely, a wee bit warm but the wind was cool and it was spitting rain. if it could be like that next week, fine. then gav came round with his work's 3D imaging equipment and scanned the finished anchor to try and make a 3D gif from it. it was maybe too big an object to do but hopefully we'll get something from it. I have a couple of funny photos of gav doing the scanning while beefy follows him with a monitor, a blip for another day.

we've been promising all day to do something with peggy, so we jumped in the car and headed to cruden bay and slains castle. I've been a few times but forget how huge it is and how spectacular it must have been in its day. it's really not very safe either, cliffs right beside it and I'm sure some of the building will fall down at some point. peggy and daisy loved it. we nipped over to the beach before heading home for a late tea. we watched the first two episodes of black books with daisy - which went down a storm, she was laughing her ass off!

did some last minute tweaks to the anchor which goes away tomorrow. I have total mixed feelings about that!!
