Duck Head.

Having a duck clinging uncomfortably to your head, particularly while wielding a toy megaphone that plays “Happy Birthday,” does not create a dignified appearance. This renegade is our favourite park ranger, Alan, trying to stop the public from becoming over-excited about the duck race that is due to start in 5 minutes time.
 
The credit for organising the event must go to Alan who brought “The Friends of Roslin Glen” into existence many years ago. Other pictures from the afternoon are on their Facebook page. It’s worth popping across to see Jenny who was bravely dressed in rubber for the event. It also gives me much pleasure to announce that it was my duty to zip her into it.
