The Calm Before

Our sailing home yesterday was cancelled due to high seas. Today was a lovely sunny day, but still very cold and the waves in Cook Strait still quite lumpy at 4m. Here, the Marlborough Sounds were lulling a lot of passengers into a false sense of security as they tucked into poached eggs and bacon, fries etc (despite the crew warnings). I had decided to forgo my morning cereal which proved a good decision as the paper bags started to get a hammering shortly after I took this.
