Cornish Jack
I only new this flower by the name Cornish Jack, I have just look on the net, and found this. I always thought it was a wild flower. I have this plant in my garden.
Gladiolus italicus -
Gladiolus italicus bulbs spring to life with small magenta flowers that add bright colour to a spring bulb display and they fit in well with other late-spring flowers. The slender sword-shaped leaves appear before the flower spikes that often carry as many as 20 blooms on each stem. This particular Gladioli bulb are smaller than the showy exhibition type gladioli and their bright but dainty flowers combine well with alliums, irises and tulips. They are excellent flowers for cutting.
