Dots

Rainstorm during the night, thinking about raindrops upon awakening, coffee first, flipflops on, no need to change out of jammies, walk around the yard, puddles in the driveway, trees reflecting, looking for water drops on the mimosa tree, wind blew them off I guess, two day lilies blooming, possibly blip, some tiny drops on the Lantana, a spider web holding sparkles as the sun pops out for just a few seconds, raindrops on the purple heart running up and down the hill, something not natural, the car, spotted, rainx works on the windows..dots of water on the mirror, selfie time, might be the blip, then the windshield, a heart leap, the clear streak with dots of water like the speed bump things in the road, the dots of water along the sides like grains of desert sand or tiny pebbles, a road going into infinity, only have the phone, should go get the real camera but no, take photos with the camera I have or the moment will be lost. Always take more than one, and then look even further. I love exploring after the rain.
