Iraq In Manchester

As I walked down Chepstow Street what should I see but the
Consulate General of The Republic of Iraq.Fascinated I was tempted to go in but opted for this photo . Berlin has an abandoned Embassy which is in a no man's land of ownership. As a result it has been trashed by looters. Urban exploration should never deface , destroy or loot . My link shows what has happened in Berlin . I doubt this could happen here. In Iraq briefly prior to the 2003 invasion I found people were wonderful, secular,had amazing culture & love of the arts. Maybe I will call in here and say hello . Different government but people are people . Note the low key -- no security ... Interesting and hopeful .
