Flowers, green shoots and summer
Apparently summer just arrived in our part of Sweden. The Swedish Meteorological Service define the start of summer as the first 24 hour day with an average temperature of over 10°C. It was really warm yesterday in the day, which must have made up for the short period in the middle of the night when it was down to 2°C!
Marsh marigolds and fresh green shoots in the beaver stream near our house seem to be representing the crossover from spring to summer.
