Good Deeds

Me and Penny had a day of being good citizens. In the morning we volunteered at stopover - a project that helps homeless young people - which was being organised by the Body Shop. Penny was amazed by how quiet Glasgow is on a Sunday morning, as usually she isn't awake early enough. In the afternoon we joined in for the Woodlands Community clean up. Seeing the difference that a small group of people made to the streets by litterpicking for a short time made us think how much of a difference it would make if everybody helped to keep the planet cleaner by simply picking up a few pieces of litter each day. People need to start taking responsibility for the planet.
