Seaside
We went off to the seaside today, first visiting Clovelly. This is a very old fishing village which has a cobbled main street that is very steep. No cars - deliveries to shops are done by sledge. The harbour is in the extra, and an anchor from the harbour wall is the main blip.
From there we drove to Westward Ho! (important not to forget the exclamation point) for a quick walk and then to Appledore for a lovely walk through some old terraced cottage streets. Most of them seemed to be holiday homes now - "The Dolls House" is another extra.
