Pirate emergency

Failed to take any photos today so here's one of a picture we made on Friday.

Today's bedtime stories included a flight to a distant island with a talking parrot in two jungle tricking us into looking for treasure that just turned out to be fireworks and a waterslide. Then a trip in a rocket to the moon but that was too boring so our moon rock samples turned out to contain gold and gems so we made a moon sword out of them.

Then there was a cave full of killer robots and daddy had to keep tricking them with trap paths so they couldn't get us and then we fought them with the moon sword and Matthew's legendary diamond sword to get to the treasure which in this case was a giant golden chicken that laid chocolate eggs

Then we took the golden eggs and the moon sword to show the monster who lives in the middle of the maze in the Botanic gardens and he took us down into his underground house and gave Matthew a cuddly dinosaur toy on exchange for some chocolate and Matthew brought the dinosaur home to bed and he made friends with Matthew's teddies and now they all like to go off and have picnics together.

Honestly he's a tough audience but he keeps wanting more!
