Giant Marionettes -Scuba Diver

Amazing parade in Canada for the 1at time visiting from France. The scuba diver uncle, the young neice and her dog were the parade, aling with some bands, music and fun. Teams on 30 people worked each of the 3 marionettes. These 2 pics are of the scuba diver as you can see. To have him walk, each leg has about 10 people climbing a staircase on the custom crane. 2 at a time they jump off and swing on the rope to lift the leg then run back to get in line to do it again. They do 2 hours along 4 km route tgen have a 2 hour 'nap' then wake up and retrace their steps. On Tuesday i will back blip the girl on her tricycle. It was all so cool and so much fun....quite a spectacle! A great event to celebrate Montreal's 375th birthday. Montreal is my husband's hometown, so lovely to be back visiting! It is such a cool city!
