Benign neglect in action

Back to bad pictures of my garden, I'm afraid. Little sunshine and thoroughly boring large grey clouds this evening, so this will have to do.

I tried and failed to take arty close-up shots of each of the plants in this little corner of our garden (I really need to learn what the buttons and dials on my camera do!), but ended up sticking with the ensemble version.

I like my pyracantha, and my resilient, unsupported clematis, and my overflowing lavender bush. But this Blip is really just to shame me into doing some long overdue pruning and weeding. One day, one day.
