Country Sunrise

The sun comes up a lot earlier in Washington State than what we are used to in Zihuatanejo. Fortunately, at least from a photographic standpoint, we are still on Zihua time and are raring to go by the time sun rises over the hills. That translates into stellar light and an occasional rainbow (barely visible on the right in this photo). What doesn't translate in these early morning photos is the peace and quiet endemic to the country - especially to someone who has most recently been in chaotic, noisy Mexico. It is wonderful to experience for a brief visit, but we have embraced the noise and miss it while we are away.
