Shady spot

Monday was a scorcher, so I was very thankful to discover a new lunchtime spot - a lovely bench tucked away in a shady spot beneath some palms. I'd been in a stuffy lecture theatre all morning so it was very nice to get some fresh air.

I also spent the whole day squinting as the Opticians are still working in my new prescription sunglasses. I am getting them back on Friday - guaranteed that the weather will take a turn for the worse then!

Ian and I were on different campuses today so there were plenty of steps for me as I made my way between them at the start and the end of the day. I have around 100 miles to finish in my virtual walk around the English Coastal Path - so it is looking like a June finish ahead.
