A dark day, despite the sunshine.

I had a sunny pre-wedding shoot on a farm this morning... it did little to distract from the sadness I'm feeling about the events in Manchester. It's all the more shocking to realise that young people were specifically targeted, or so it would seem. But despite the sadness, there is hope that people won't let the hate divide us - the people offering strangers beds for the night, lifts to collect people, taxi drivers turning off their meters to get people to safety, the homeless man who held a dying woman in his arms. My heart aches.
