Art!... waiting for its boss...

The artwork
a story out of the 17th century http://www.regiocanons.nl/overijssel/twente/rijssen/munsterkolk-

The image consists of two elements: An archetypal helmet and a realistic, very detailed Dutch dog, to the example of Pompey, the dog of Willem van Oranje. The helmet all the way backwards, making it look good inside and under. Its emptiness is visible and experienced.

For the helmet is a dog cast in bronze, detailed and sophisticated. This makes it lively. The contrast between the dog's liveliness and the simplicity of helmet makes it a scenic scene. The image only sees this as a subtle monument that tells of a personal drama of an unknown soldier.
