The odd couple...!!!

Ok, so you tell me what it is. Go on. I know what I think it is, and I amn't talking about the slow worm (which is one of many living here).

That was the scene as Janet lifted a planter in the greenhouse this morning. Which was then gently replaced. Now, I know we've got common and palmate newts in the pond, but I've not seen this fellow before - I wonder if he's been displaced by all the construction work in the village.

I think I need to get my wildlife handbooks out...
