Today's inspiration is twofold. 

Firstly a nod to friends who just won Best In Show at Chelsea  -  a huge achievement - although personally I don't love this year's entry as much as I have previous ones...

And also because it is now silly season around these parts, with the Cannes Film Festival on and it's palm d'or motif.

Mine pictured is nothing so impressive - but I do still love having palms in the garden (not having had them growing up in Croydon!) - they'll always feel exotic to me.
