Coming, not going!

Visited Avonmouth Docks today with a U3A group - we darted around in a minibus and finished up in the Mission to Seamen's building where we were regaled with great stories by the manager who 'sees what goes on'! Recently men were seen climbing down the mooring ropes from a ship and when finally rounded up were found to be asylum seekers.  Since they hadn't been able to get out of the docks they were still under the jurisdiction of the Captain of the ship in which they had stowed so he had to take them away again under lock and key.
