they came, it rained!

The Tour of Britain raced through our town today - blinked and you just might have missed them - fast, fit guys that they are!

In true Cumbria style they were greeted with rain - not that it deterred the crowds who were suitably kitted out for wet weather. After all we had already had a practice run when the Olympic torch passed through on one of the wettest days of the year! For a very clear look at the rain drops see it here in large.
