Montacute II

We left George and Ann's this morning and headed for home. We stopped at Montacute House again. It's been a beautiful day and it was a joy to walk around in these summer conditions but still with the fresh colours and new growth that here delineates the shape of the wibbly-wobbly yew hedges as they lead down to a cedar tree and an Elizabethan outbuilding. Montacute was used in the filming of Wolf Hall.
