You've dropped a bit!
I'm feeling so much better today and I've actually managed not to fall asleep on the sofa! I took myself out for some fresh air this afternoon and had a wee walk round Gunknowe Loch. Someone was feeding the swans with bread (not me, I know it's bad for them) and my wee friend the black headed gull appeared to steal some.
Gunknowe Loch is man made and was created in 1978 in an area of marshland. The local farmer actually used to charge people to skate on the frozen water during the winter. Up to thirty species of birds can be seen as you walk round on the paths. These facts are often spoken aloud by me as I come into the village, I just hope I can remember them when its my turn on the open-top.
