This old girl had fun today driving the TR to deliver some of MrQ's asparagus to the family and to pick up her granddaughter from school after an exam.

When the girls saw the car they squealed with delight. They piled into the two-seater roadster with my granddaughter in the passenger seat and her friends on the parcel shelf. We did a circuit of the roads near the school with the girls whooping, waving and laughing.

I'm sure it's not necessary to articulate what was going through my mind. :(

I like this. It's an easy to read and understand love sonnet. It's that "Mister Moon" again. :)  One reviewer suggested that it should be used widely at weddings. Carpe diem. Sometimes, "this device of wantonness and wit" ie a poem, "can help hold the world still as time slips away."
