Herald Moth

Up this morning at 7am and still managed to miss breakfast time. Those shift workers start early!. We were late because it was raining too much for what we had to do today and after sorting the moth traps we could not do any more. Butterflies and moths tend not to fly in the rain.

Rather than wait for the weather to clear, that may have taken a while, we got the next boat off site. Home a day early but that just means I will need to go out again soon.

This is a Herald moth that we caught in the traps this morning, a little tatty because it's been around a while.
