Mochos Road

It's been a case of saying goodbye today to two sets of friends that have flown over to Crete to have a holiday and share company. The friends, Julia & Steve, weren't due to arrive until 4pm at our hotel so we went out for a drive to The Aposelemi Dam in the mountains above the village we are staying.

They left for the airport at 6pm, so after a quick shower we collected our friends John and Stella to take them to Mochos, in the mountains, to enjoy a final meal. As we drove along the long bendy mountain road to Mochos Village the sun was setting and I couldn't resist pulling over to grab a photo. It makes a pleasing wide angle photo for the wednesday wide angle challenge.
