Blooming good

What a lovely sunny day.........a trip to th garden centre for more compost and liners for another two containers, the last two I might add!

We stopped off in town on our way back for a couple of things, then popped into the cafe for coffee and a sandwich......we both had our usual.

Then back home to finish off the planting up in th back garden. We took a break and had a beer, it was so warm......the. carried on weeding, watering, cutting back etc. Our little blue tits are still working hard back and forth. I did find a little fledging on the lawn :-(, dont think,it was one of ours, too far away from the nest box, poor little thing.

Hub went indoors to watch the news and I carried on, when he reappeared, i was surprised when he said, "about time you called it a day" it was 6.45!!!

I made minted lamb burgers, mixed salad with feta, pomegranite and avocado for dinner, was really scrummy it was too!

Then we settled done to watch my team play in th Europa Cup Final....hopefully to give Manchester a lift after the traumas of Monday. I am happy to say they won.........it just felt right somehow :-)
