Never a dull moment in my job. Today we took part in an archaeological dig that is happening on the front lawn of the University. My knees were too creaky to kneel down and scrape but I did get to sieve some earth. The kids may not have found the gold they were hoping for they were delighted to find bits of building material, charcoal from old fires and part of an old poison bottle!
