Hot Hot Hot...

And getting hotter!

Pretty full on day today as we were interviewing for new members of Alan's support team.   Can't say too much at the moment other than interesting day :-))   Second part of interviews to be arranged, where candidates come to the house for a less formal chat and to meet Alan.   All crucial stuff but it's time consuming and tiring (emotionally and physically.)

Nabbed today's blip on my phone on the way home.  Was annoyed I hadn't taken my camera as missed loads of lovely shots.  

We stopped and had an early dinner in a local restaurant to give us time to chat about the afternoon and share our thoughts.  Easier to do away from home.  

We were back early enough for D to get out on the golf course for a few holes, or so he thought, but he managed to play the whole course.   He was smiling when he returned and I listened enthralled hahahahaha as he described all his good shots in great detail.  

Paul finished painting the front door this morning (see extra) and bid us farewell.   There's a couple of little finishing things to be done that Johnny will return to do at some point, but today officially marked the end of the building work, which spookily is a year to the day (not the date) since the building work started.  How spooky is that?!  :-)
