Did somebody say bedtime?

Both Rob and I are like zombies at the moment. Little D is currently waking 2 or 3 times before midnight and Miss A 2 or 3 times from 1am, either trying to get into bed beside us or wanting me to sleep beside her. 'Mummy, I just need someone to look after me.' Nothing like tugging on the old heart strings!

Last night, after another outburst from Miss A, Rob gave her a stern talking to and only some snivelling was heard from her room for a while. Just as we'd fallen back asleep Miss A appeared at our bedsides again, but this time kissed us gently and went back to her bed. I asked her about it in the morning and she said it was to say sorry for waking us up. Impossible not to forgive that.

We spent the day outdoors and had a lovely visit from Grandma and Grandad, who came with some more cuttings for the garden. Miss A found a worm and decided to keep it as a pet, although played with it a little too much and a little bit came off in her hand - and then there were two pets! She wanted to bring them to dinner and have them sit beside her at the table. Unfortunately she put them down for a minute and they got, ahem, 'lost'. Shame. Awful shame.

Bathtime was a hyper affair with 'bubble dancing' and 'botty bombing' being a particular favourite. There was more water out the bath than in it and I was soaked. The craziness of bathtime lent itself to me experimenting with the point and shoot.

Now for some sleep. Please.

I decided to change bathtime image after Rob said it looked as though the kids had had a toxic pee in the bath. Couldn't look at the shot the same way again!
